![]() Cultured Marble Cleaning Instructions [ go back ] There are a number of easy-to-use, commercially available cleaning products well suited for use on your Cultured Marble. Products such as: Lysol Basin Tub & Tile Cleaner, Dow Bathroom Cleaner, X-14 Soap Scum Remover, etc., are available at your local supermarket. Please be sure to check the back label to see that the product is safe for use on synthetic marble. To clean and polish your new Cultured Marble, we recommend using Gel Gloss. This product is made for use on gelcoated surfaces and will take off soap scum and polish your marble as well as your fixtures. You can purchase Gel Gloss from Designers Marble, or your local hardware store. Just wipe on Gel Gloss, let it dry to a powder, and wipe off. If you have specified “Matte Finish” on your Cultured marble, please do not use Gel Gloss or any other polishing compound as it will restore a glossy finish. For those of you with new marble shower or tub walls, Designers Marble sells Cleret Squeegees. These can also be used on tub/shower doors and mirrors. If you have any question or concerns, please do not hesitate to give us a call. Please do not use any abrasive cleansers. Even products such as “Soft Scrub” contain grit that can harm your new marble.
